THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE 2018

The Environment, Health and Safety offices of SGS will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be accepting samples until 5 PM on Wednesday, November 21 and will resume normal business hours on Saturday, November 24 at our labs, and normal business hours on Monday, November 26 for our service center sites. To accommodate holding times around the holiday, we ask that you keep the following in mind:

BODs collected on Thursday, November 15 and on Friday, November 16 should be received at the lab by 3:00 PM on Friday, November 17. BOD samples collected on Wednesday, November 21 need to be received at the lab no later than 2:00 PM that day. (These times are to address the 48-hour holding time and 5-day incubation period.)

Most microbiological samples should not be sampled or submitted on Wednesday, November 21. In addition, samples for total plate count should not be sampled or submitted on Tuesday, November 20.

Tedlar Bag samples for TO­3 analysis should not be collected on Wednesday, November 21. Samples collected on or before November 21 should be submitted to the lab before 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 21.
