SGS North America – Environment, Health and Safety will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 and on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of Christmas and the New Year holidays. Normal business hours are in effect on the weekends before the holidays and during the weekdays after the holidays listed above, however will only be accepting samples until 5pm on Monday, December 24 and Monday, December 31.
To accommodate holding times around the holiday, please keep the following in mind:
- Samples for BOD analysis that are collected on Tuesday, December 18 or on Wednesday, December 19 must be received by 12pm on Wednesday, December 19.
- Samples for BOD analysis that are collected on Tuesday, December 25 or on Wednesday, December 26 must be received before 12pm on Wednesday, December 26 (This is to address the 48hr holding time and the 5 day incubation period).
- Samples for most microbiological testing should be submitted by 3 pm on Friday, December 21 and on Friday, December 28. In addition, samples for heterotrophic plate count should be submitted by 2 pm on Friday, December 21 and on Friday, December 28 (This is to address the 24-48-hour holding time).
- Tedlar® airbag samples for TO3 analysis must be submitted by Friday, December 21 or on Friday, December 28 (This is to address the 36-hour holding time).
