US Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

SGS North America Inc., Environmental Health and Safety laboratories will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be accepting samples until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25 and will resume normal business hours on the days before and after the holiday.

In order to accommodate holding times around the holiday, please take note of the following information:

  • BOD samples collected on Thursday, November 19 and on Friday, November 20, must be received at the lab by 3:00 PM on Friday, November 20. BOD samples collected on Wednesday, November 25 need to be received at the lab no later than 2:00 PM that day. This schedule is to address the 48-hour holding time and the 5-­day incubation period.
  • Microbiological samples should not be sampled or submitted on Wednesday, November 25. In addition, samples for total plate count should not be sampled or submitted on Tuesday, November 24.
  • Please submit Tedlar Bag samples for TO­3 analysis on or before 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 25, to allow time for analysis before the holiday. They should not be collected on Wednesday, November 25.

Please coordinate all projects accordingly and contact your Project Manager if you have any special needs or concerns.
