This month, we’re celebrating another milestone for our evolving company as SGS North America Director of Quality Assurance, Caitlin Brice joins the NELAC Institute’s (TNI) Board of Directors.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunity to serve on the TNI Board of Directors,” Caitlin says. “The TNI standards have shaped my professional development and fueled my insatiable desire for learning since I began my career in 2009.”
The NELAC Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, fosters the generation of environmental data to help progress the needs of the community. After attending a NELAC meeting, Caitlin saw an opportunity to join the board and nominated herself, determined to learn and continue her mission of supporting other’s success. Her 13 years of experience in analytical and environmental chemistry combined with volunteer efforts with organizations including FSEA, NAEP and ITRC, makes the TNI Board a perfect a match for Caitlin’s evolving career.
Throughout her life, Caitlin’s motivation to make lasting impact, focused on the preservation of natural resources, has helped her achieve goals related to a more sustainable future. While this is her first time sitting on a board, her determination and willingness to learn
Caitlin’s appointment is one of the many ways we ensure representation at the most important environmental tables in North America. Caitlin will have insight into conserving the effects on commercial labs from a quality perspective, a unique opportunity to represent the business side combined with the regulatory side. Caitlin says, “to have the trust and support of this organization which helped me realize my potential is an enormous honor. I hope to further TNI’s mission and represent SGS and commercial laboratories to the best of my abilities.”
This appointment follows a flurry of news as we at SGS continue to grow our innovative suite of environmental testing services to enable a more sustainable, interconnected world. Want to know more about how we’re expanding our global reach? Contact us, we’d love to partner with you!
