SGS Canada Winter Holiday Hours 2022

2022 was a year that allowed us to finally connect with friends, family and colleagues again. As always, thank you for letting us partner with you to provide analytical services this past year. To keep you on track and prevent interruption during this busy holiday season, below is information on our holiday closures for Christmas and New Year’s. We all wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

SGS Canada’s Industries & Environment group will be operating modified hours for the holiday season as noted below:
Friday, December 23: 7:30am – 12:00pm
Saturday, December 24: Closed
Sunday, December 25: Closed
Monday, December 26: Closed
Tuesday, December 27: Closed
Friday, December 30: 7:30am – 12:00pm
Saturday, December 31: Closed
Sunday, January 1: Closed
Monday, January 2: Closed
SGS will be operating normal business hours on the days before and after the holidays.

To accommodate your project needs including pickups, deliveries and sample holding times around the holiday, please take note of the following:
  • We will not be accepting samples during days we are closed. For emergency or after-hours support, please contact your Client Service Representative or Account Executive.
  • Third party couriers, including Purolator, have reduced pickups during the holiday. Call your courier service for local pick-up schedules.
  • Samples with short holding times or incubation periods (BOD, EColi, Coliforms, Encore samplers, Residual Chlorine, Turbidity) should not be collected the day before the holiday.
  • For convenience, clients who prefer to drop samples off may do so to avoid shipping delays around holiday closures.
  • If submitting samples at our SGS Mississauga Depot, please ensure drop-off prior to 12:00 pm Friday, Dec 23rd, 2022 and Friday, December 30th, 2022.
  • Temperature sensitive samples cannot be shipped by courier on December 23rd and December 30th.
  • Schedule your SGS sample pickups and bottle orders in advance where possible.
