SGS Orlando Laboratory Achieves New Accreditation Milestone with DOECAP Program for Non-Radioactive Samples

We are excited to announce a significant achievement for our SGS laboratory in Orlando, FL which has recently obtained a new accreditation through the Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program (DOECAP) for non-radioactive samples. The DOECAP program is instrumental in ensuring the validity, reliability, and defensibility of environmental analytical data used by the DOE. This achievement empowers our lab to provide the highest quality environmental analytical data, ensuring our clients can make impactful environmental decisions with confidence.

Under the DOECAP-Accreditation Program (DOECAP-AP), we are now equipped to provide assurance to DOE sites that our contracted commercial laboratory can support the DOE on a wide range of parameters ranging from general chemistry to PFAS by EPA 533, 537.1 and 1633.

With over 20 years of experience in developing testing methods for the EPA, our elite technical leadership acts as a roadmap for the future. While this expertise has been utilized by the Department of Defense (DoD), it can now be harnessed by the DOE to further strengthen our support in critical environmental areas.

As the primary DOE laboratory for the SGS network chemistry support, our facility in Orlando stands as a full-service environmental analytical laboratory. Our capabilities support unique projects including soil and groundwater remediation and monitoring, NPDES, site investigations and site characterizations.

We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and remain committed to delivering exceptional environmental testing services across North America. For more information on our DOECAP accreditation and the services we offer, please contact us.
