As an expert in the analytical chemistry field with a 40-year career to date, Dr. Doss’ expertise spans chemistry, environmental analysis, hydrocarbon chemistry, forensics, industrial hygiene laboratory services (American Industrial Hygiene Association [AIHA] accredited), biota analyses both by traditional techniques and matrix solid phase dispersion (MSPD), hazardous waste management, client services, management of laboratories, data validation, data management, laboratory audits and litigation support.
During the pandemic, the Oil and Gas industry worldwide experienced significant changes. The volatility of prices and demand have weakened the industry. During this session, we will be discussing factors and anticipated trends in exploration, completions and testing demands that have affected the Oil and Gas Industry. The Shale Oil and Gas session will take place on August 2nd, 2021, from 10:30am – 12:00pm PT, featuring Dr Doss as a co-chair and presenter.
His presentation, “Shale Oil and Gas Industry – Pandemic Effects”, beginning at 11:30 am PT, will outline the changes during the pandemic and provide a glimpse into new developments and specifications for crude oil and implications for regulators and providers of sampling and analytical services.
